Last Friday, St Lukes primary school in Old Street hosted a Moorfields Tea party. The children had a 'bake off' the previous day, and then sold all their sweet treats to their families to raise money for Moorfields Eye Charity. The day consisted of bingo, a musical number from their talented year 6's (singing a lovely rendition of 'Grease is the word') and a whole host of friendly competitions. It was a chance for the children to bring their parents and grandparents to school and to show off their hard work throughout the year - and, of course, eat some delicous homemade cake at the same time. It was a lovely day and we had a great time meeting all the children of St Lukes - thanks to you all for being part of #TeamMoorfields!
