Interested at volunteering at Eye to Eye?

We need a crew of kind volunteers to help our day go with a bang! Email hibah.saleh@nhs.net to find out more and join our energetic cheer squad.

We ask all adult walkers to fundraise a minimum of £100, although anything you can raise makes a difference.

Our fundraising team will be here to support you every step of the way to help you achieve your target. Don’t want to fundraise but still want to take part? You can choose to self-fund when registering.

What your fundraising could help us achieve

£100 could support a PhD student such as Mahtab Farahbakhsh who used her research to develop fun, engaging and accurate eye tests for children, helping to improve our understanding of how vision develops.

£250 could support patient services such as our pioneering eye clinic liaison officers (ECLOs), offering comprehensive emotional, psychological and practical support to those when they need it the most.

£1,000 could support a Career Development Award such as one recently given to Dr Davide Zecchin, exploring the mechanisms underlying uveal melanoma that could help identify new therapeutic targets and treatment strategies.

What you’ll get as part of your Eye to Eye experience

  • An Eye to Eye t-shirt
  • Our newsletter including fundraising tips and inspiring Moorfields stories
  • Any support and advice you might need from our fundraising team
  • Finishers medal
  • Printed map on the day

Need some extra support during your walk or looking for a companion? Let us know when you register and we can pair you with one of our fabulous volunteers.
